Terrazzo Diamond Grinding/Polishing

Diamond grinding and polishing is ideal for terrazzo floors found in supermarkets, retail outlets, railway stations and airports. No added chemicals are required for this process just water and diamond abrasive grit pads.

The first step is to grind the terrazzo floor area with a low grit pad creating an even matt finish. The grits are then methodically taken up stage by stage using smoother diamond grit pads to achieve the desired finish which can range from a deep lustre finish to a high gloss finish. The higher the grit increases the smoother the floor gets which increases reflective light and shine.

Marble or Limestone

Diamond grinding is carried out on marble and limestone using a series of grits fixed to a heavy duty grinding machine. This creates a slurry which is extracted to leave a smooth finish. We then carry out a vitrification process which leaves a high gloss finish; this is achieved by burnishing a liquid soaker into the floor area with steel mesh pads. Once finished we can provide a regular vitrification maintenance programme to ensure the floor stays looking good for longer.
